From Tori Amos...
"Give me life. Give me pain. Give me myself again."
This morning I was out walking the dogs. A car pulled up next to me and the woman inside, looking for a garage sale, asked, "Do you know where Houston is?" It took everything I had to not say, "Um, yeah. In Texas."
Instead, I told her I didn't know where Houston Street was.
Made me smile.

Note this blog's header is of the Chicago Skyline. This is for inspiration as I train for the Chicago Half Marathon, my first BIG race. If all goes well, maybe that header will change to the Nashville skyline. There just so happens to be a full MARATHON there 13 days before my 40th birthday...
